Seeking English speaking actors and Spanish speaking actors!

We warmly welcome and encourage those from all identities, generations, ethnicities, and abilities to audition. Our multi-lingual Readers Theatre series is a unique combination of theatrical and literary mediums: classical Readers Theatre and the modern-day audio book.

AUDITIONS:

Video auditions: Accepting now - April 4

Audition Form:  2025 Audition Form

Rehearsals: April 13 - May 7 in Fremont

Spanish Translation: Sundays and Tuesdays (7-9pm)

English Translation: Mondays and Wednesdays (7-9pm)

Recording: May 11-15 in Fremont

Please note your availability and schedule conflicts will affect casting.

What to prepare:

Please prepare a 1-2 minute section of a children's story where you can showcase your ability for different character voices in English or Spanish language. Email your headshot, resume (if you have one), audition form, and indicate which version(s) you will be auditioning for with subject line "Puss in Boots Audition Submission" to admin@stageonetheatre.org.

Video Submissions:

Please begin by stating your name and what song you are singing. Make sure you are well lit and are in focus, and are in the frame from your waist up. Email your video, headshot, resume (if you have one), and audition form with subject line "Puss in Boots Audition Submission" to admin@stageonetheatre.org.

All roles are volunteer and NON-AEA.
